Stihl BT 131 - Installing the Fan Housing; Removing the Air Guide Shroud; Installing the Air Guide Shroud

N Grip underside of the fan housing (1), lift it up and
remove.
N Inspect guide pins (2) on both sides of fan housing (1)
and replace if damaged.
8.5 Installing the Fan Housing
N Position the fan housing (1) on the powerhead,
making sure that:
– The ledge (6) on the fan housing (1) engages under
the shroud.
– The guide pins (2) on the engine side of the fan
housing (1) are in the holes in the engine pan.
N Insert and tighten down the screws (4).
N Install the powerhead, @ 7.2.
N Install handlebar together with control handle, @ 5.7.
8.6 Removing the Air Guide Shroud
N Preparations, @ 3.1.
N Take out the screw (5).
N Unhook and remove the air guide shroud (6).
N Remove the bushing (7).
8.7 Installing the Air Guide Shroud
N Fit bushing (7) in the air guide shroud (6).
N Fit retaining lugs of air guide shroud (6) in the cooling
slots of the shroud (9) and screen (8).
N Insert and tighten down the screw (5).
