5.2 Removing the Handlebars
N Preparations, @ 3.1.
N Cut through the cable ties (11).
N Hold screws (8) steady and unscrew the nuts (7).
N Pull out the screws (8).
N Remove the handlebar (6) together with the control
handle (2) and elbow (1).
N Remove the handlebar (10) together with the assist
handle (9) and elbow (1).
N Hold screws (4) steady and unscrew the nuts (5).
N Pull out the screws (4).
N Pull out the elbows (1).
5.3 Removing the Control Handle
N Remove handlebar (6) together with control handle
(2), @ 5.2.
N Loosen the screws (3).
N Pull the handlebar (6) out of the control handle (2).
Disassemble and assemble the control handle (2), see
‘Series 4180 Powerhead’ service manual.
5.4 Removing the Assist Handle
N Remove handlebar (10) together with assist handle
(9), @ 5.2.
N Cut open and remove the assist handle (9).
