5.5 Fitting the Assist Handle
N Coat inside of assist handle (9) with press fluid.
N Push the assist handle (9) onto the handlebar (10)
until distance "a" is 37 mm (1.5 in).
N Fit handlebar (10) together with assist handle (9), @
5.7.
5.6 Fitting the Control Handle
N Degrease clamp surfaces on handlebar (6).
N Loosen the screws (3).
N Push control handle (2 ) onto handlebar (6 ) as far as
bend.
N Tighten down the screws (3).
N Fit handlebar (6) together with control handle (2), @
5.7.
5.7 Fitting the Handlebars
N Push the elbows (1) into place.
N Insert the screws (4) from outside.
N Hold the screws (4) steady and fit and tighten down
the nuts (5).
N Push the handlebars (6 and 10) into place.
N Insert the screws (8) from outside.
N Hold the screws (8) steady and fit and tighten down
the nuts (7).
N Lay throttle cable (13) along the handle frame and
secure it with cable ties (12) – ends facing down.
