19 Storing the Robotic Mower and Docking Station
► Store the robotic mower and docking station indoors in a 
dry and secure location, out of the reach of children and 
other unauthorized persons.
► At the end of the mowing season, protect the terminals 
(connectors) removed from the docking station from 
environmental damage by wrapping them with a generous 
amount of insulating tape or storing them in a container 
with grease so that they are protected from the elements.
NOTICE
Charging the battery fully before storage will help prevent 
damage and prolong its useful life.
NOTICE
Avoid contacting the perimeter wire when de-thatching or 
aerating the lawn. Also use caution when operating a line 
trimmer near the perimeter wire. De-thatching, aerating and 
trimming operations can result in a cut or damaged 
perimeter wire. Refer to your sketch of the mowing area and 
take special care to avoid the perimeter wire when 
performing these operations.
19.2 Docking Station and Power Supply
WARNING
Store the docking station and the power supply indoors in a 
dry, secure place that is inaccessible to children and other 
unauthorized users, @ 6. Improper storage can result in 
unauthorized use and damage to the docking station or the 
power supply, @ 6. Never place or store objects on the 
docking station.
WARNING
To reduce the risk of electric shock, always unplug the 
power supply from the electrical socket before removing the 
cover of the docking station.
When storing the docking station or the power supply for 
three months or longer (e.g. winter break):
► Disconnect the power supply from the electrical outlet.
► Remove the docking station cover.
► Open the panel.
► Press and open the left clamping lever (2).
► Pull out the stripped perimeter wire end (1).
► Close the clamping lever.
► Press and open the right clamping lever (4).
► Pull out the stripped perimeter wire end (3).
► Close the clamping lever.
► Open the cover of the cable duct and guide the perimeter 
wire out of the docking station socket.
► Do not remove the perimeter wire from the mowing area.
► Disconnect the power supply from the docking station.
► Close the panel.
► Reinstall the docking station cover.
► Remove the docking station.
► At the end of the mowing season, protect the loose 
perimeter ends removed from the docking station by 
wrapping a generous amount of insulating tape or storing 
them in a container with grease so that they are protected 
from the elements.
► Store the docking station and the power supply indoors in 
a dry and secure location, out of the reach of children and 
other unauthorized persons.
