10 Installing the Robotic Mower
10.6 Linking the Robotic Mower and Docking Station
The robotic mower can only be operated if it receives the 
wire signal emitted by the docking station. The robotic 
mower and docking station must be linked before the mower 
can receive the wire signal.
Checking the wire signal may take several minutes.
► To terminate the linking process, push the STOP button. 
The previous step of the installation assistant will be 
called up again.
► Continue the initial installation by pressing the OK button 
on the control panel.
Interrupted Reception
If the wire signal is interrupted or not received properly, the 
display will show one of the following symbols:

10.7 Checking the Installation
► Start the test run by pressing the OK button on the control 
panel. This does not activate the mowing blade.
► Close the flap.
The robotic mower will start following the perimeter wire 
along the edge of the mowing area.
► As the robotic mower follows the edge, walk behind it and 
ensure the following:
– The robotic mower follows the edge of the mowing area.
– The robotic mower clears obstacles and the borders of 
the mowing area.
Once the robotic mower and the docking station 
are linked properly, the display shows this 
symbol and the message "Wire signal OK".
The robotic mower is not receiving a wire signal. 
The display shows the message "No wire 
signal."
The robotic mower is receiving a faulty wire 
signal. The display shows the message "Check 
wire signal."
The robotic mower is receiving a reversed-
polarity wire signal. The display shows the 
message "Connections swapped or iMow 
outside."
