22 Troubleshooting Guide
22.2 Robotic Mower
Always activate the disabling device before carrying out any inspection, cleaning or maintenance.
Condition Possible Cause Remedy
The robotic mower operates at 
the wrong times.
Date and time incorrectly set. ► Set the time and date, @ 15.2.
Active times incorrectly set. ► Set the active times, @ 14.6.
Robotic mower has been 
operated by unauthorised 
persons.
► Set the safety level to "Medium" or "High", @ 15.4.
The robotic mower fails to 
operate during an active time.
Battery is charging. ► Allow the battery to finish charging, @ 12.4.
Automatic mowing switched off. ► Switch on automatic mowing, @ 15.2.
Active time switched off. ► Release the active time, @ 14.6.
Rain detected. ► Set the rain sensor, @ 15.2.
Weekly mowing duration has 
been reached, no further mowing 
operations required that week.
► No further action necessary, mowing operations are 
automatically distributed over the week – if 
necessary, start the mowing operation with the 
"Mowing" command, @ 14.3.
Message is active. ► Rectify displayed error and confirm the message by 
pressing the OK button.
– Docking station not connected 
to power supply.
– Robotic mower too hot / too 
cold.
– Power failure.
► Check the power supply to the docking station, 
@ 10.3.
► Allow the robotic mower to warm up or cool down 
gradually at ambient temperatures of about 50 °F to 
68 °F (10 °C to 20 °C).
► Check the power supply.
The robotic mower fails to mow 
after the commands "Start 
mowing" or "Start timedelayed 
mowing" have been called up.
Insufficient battery charge. ► Charge the battery, @ 12.4.
Rain detected. ► Set the rain sensor, @ 15.2.
Message is active. ► Rectify displayed error and confirm the message by 
pressing the OK button.
The ON/OFF/Home button on the 
docking station has been pressed 
twice. Homecall is active.
► Press the ON/OFF/Home button twice to switch off 
Homecall or repeat command following docking.
