Changes to the overhead gua

DANGER
In the event of the overhead guard failing due to
a falling load or the truck tipping over, there are
potentially fatal consequences for the driver. There
isarisktolife!
Welding and drilling on the overhead guard chan-
ges the material characteristics and the structural
design of the overhead guard. Excessive forces
caused by falling loads or the truck tipping over may
result in buckling of the modified overhead guard
andnoprotectionforthedriver.
– Do not perform welding on the overhead guard.
– Do not perform drilling on the overhead guard.
CAUTION
Heavy roof loads damage the overhead guard!
To ensure the stability of the overhead guard at
all times, a roof load may only be mounted on the
overhead guard if the structural design has been
tested and the manufacturer has given approval.
– Seek advice from the authorised service centre
for the mounting of roof loads.
