The information about
the highlighted channel
on the Channel list
does not seem to be
correct.
You are using the
buttons to move the
highlighting through the
list, instead of the P+/P–
buttons.
The information to the right of the Channel
list (and therefore on the Channel
information screen, if you press Info to
display it) reflects the highlighted channel
only if you use the P+/P– buttons to
highlight the channel.
You cannot see or
display the Information
banner (and therefore
cannot display the Now/
Next banner).
The Info display time
setting on the
Customise screen has
been set to None.
Set it to Short, Medium or Long (as
required) instead (see page 25).
You see the on-screen
message:
No channel (number).
You have selected a
channel number that
currently has no channel
associated with it.
In the future, this channel number may be
used for a channel. In the meantime, select
a different channel.
You have reset the
channels, but the
Channel list seems to
be the same.
Resetting channels does
not delete the Premiere
channels. (the ones with
numbers between 100
and 199 or any of those
that are “copied” in your
User list).
Your User list has been
reset to the pre-
programmed channels
after a full network scan.
The Scan resets user
list setting on the
Customise screen has
been set to Yes (this is
the factory setting).
Even with a Yes setting, a Premiere
network scan will not reset your User list.
To keep your User list during a full network
scan, change the setting to No (see
page 25)

The picture appears to
be either:
(i) “squashed” (from side
to side or from top to
bottom); or
(ii) cut off at the top and
bottom of the screen.
The TV screen format
setting on the TV
settings screen has not
been set to match your
TV.
Display the TV settings screen (see
page 25). If you have a widescreen TV, set
16:9 otherwise set 4:3.
Note: If you have a widescreen TV, its
remote control may have a “zoom” button
which alters the way that the picture
appears on the screen, so you may also
need to use this button.
You cannot hear Dolby
Digital audio from
equipment attached to
the digital audio
connector.
(i) The programme is not
transmitted with the
Dolby Digital audio
stream required.
(ii) The Dolby Digital
stream is available, but
Auto-handling is set to
off on the Dolby Digital
screen (this is the
factory setting)
Check, by looking on the Information
banner for the programme, that audio
options are available (the loudspeaker
symbol will be yellow). Then press the
option (Opt) button (followed by the
button if required) to display Audio option
screen. Highlight Dolby Digital (if present)
and then press OK.
If, generally, you wish to hear Dolby Digital
audio when it is available, change Auto-
handling to on.
