4.1.1 Periodic maintenance
Carry out all recommended maintenance in this
manual.
4.1.2 Check work calculagraph (hour meter) usually
Determine when the machine needs periodic
maintenance according to calculagraph ①.
The intervals in the periodic maintenance list are based
on the normal condition. If operate excavator in bad
conditions, the intervals should be shorten.
4.1.3 Use fuel and lubricant correctly
4.1.4 Preparation for maintenance
1) Place the machine on a hard horizontal ground.
2) Lower the bucket to the ground.
3) Operate engine at low rev for 5 minutes.
4) Stop engine, and take out the key from switch. (If it is necessary to maintain the machine as
the engine runs, operator can’t leave cabin)
5) Pull the pilot control lever to “LOCK” position.
6) Before maintenance, please hang the label “DO NOT OPERATE” on left joystick.
Always use recommended fuel and
lubricant, otherwise it will damage
the machine and lose the warranty of
Sunward.
z Use recommended fuel, hydraulic oil and lubricant.
z Only use original SUNWARD parts.
z If user doesn’t use recommended fuel, hydraulic oil, lubricant and original SUNWARD
parts, the warranty will automatically be invalid.
z Never adjust engine rev limiter or hydraulic system safety valve.
z Avoid electric parts touching water and vapor.
z Never disassemble engine pump controller, sensor, etc.
