Overview of the Processor Carrier Assembly
The processor carrier assembly contains a 4th Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processor and a
processor carrier. Carefully follow the instructions given in the installation section to place a
processor into the carrier to create a processor carrier.
The processor carrier assembly includes a processor and a carrier as shown below:
1. The 4th Gen Intel Xeon Scalable Processor: SP XCC, SP MCC, and Max Series (HBM).
2. CPU Carrier (Top View) for: SP XCC, SP MCC, and Max Series (HBM).
