Preparing the CPU Socket for Installation
This motherboard comes with a plastic protective cover installed on the CPU socket. Remove
it from the socket by following the instructions below:
1. Press the tabs inward.

Remove the plastic protective cover from the CPU socket.
Do not touch or bend the socket pins.
2. Pull up the protective cover from the socket.
