Heatsinks (Optional)
The optional Extended Volume Air Cooling (EVAC) SNK-P2089P 2U heatsink designed for
X13DEM supports dual 4th Gen Intel Xeon Scalable Processors (in Socket E LGA4189).
Installing X13DEM EVAC Heatsinks
Begin by creating the PHM and installing the PHM into the CPU socket.
1. With a T30 Torx-bit screwdriver, gradually tighten the four PEEK nuts to the standos
located at MH15, MH16, MH17, and MH18. To avoid damaging the PHM, do not use a
force greater than 1 lbf-in when tightening the screws.
2. Examine all the extended sections of the heatsinks to ensure that the PHM is rmly
attached to the standos.
