RECOIL STARTER 5-7
• Install the friction plate 3.
• Apply THREAD LOCK “1342” to threads of screw 2 then
tighten the screw 2.
NOTE:
Screw 2 is a left hand thread.

• Rotate the reel approximately 4 turns counterclockwise until
the recoil spring is tensioned.
INSTALLATION
Installation is reverse order of removal with the special attention
to the following steps.
• Check to ensure that all removed parts are back in place.
