INSPECTION AND SERVICING
NOTE:
If excessive wear, crack, defective or other damage is found on
any component, replace.
CAMSHAFT
Cam face
Inspect the cam face for scratches and wear.
Cam wear
Measure the cam height H.
09900-20202: Micrometer
Cam height:
Standard:
IN. & EX. 28.480 – 28.680 mm (1.1213 – 1.1291 in)
Service limit: IN. & EX. 28.180 mm (1.1094 in)
If the measurement exceeds the service limit, replace the cam-
shaft.
Camshaft gear
Inspect the camshaft gear for wear or other damage.
Replace it necessary.
CAM ROCKER ARM
Inspect the cam rocker arm for wear or other damage.
Replace it necessary.
