EXHAUST PIPE NUT AND BOLT AND
MUFFLER NUT AND
BOLTS
Tighten initially at 1 000 km (600 miles , 1 month) and
every 12 000 km (7500 miles , 12 months) thereafter.
• Remove the right frame cover. (c:::::r 6-2)
• Tiohten the exhaust pipe n"t (j). p.xh",,!'<' rirp. hnl t (2). muffl'"
connection bo lt 0), muffler mounting bolt 0, and muffler mount-
ing nut ® to the specified torque.
(!) Exhaust pipe nut and bolt: 23 N·m (2.3 kgf-m, 16.5 Ib-ft)
Muffler
connection bolt : 20 N·m (2.0 kgf-m , 14.5 Ib-ft)
Muffler mounting nut and bolt :
23
