STARTER RELAY INSPECTION
• Remove the righl frame cover.

• Disconnect the starter motor lead wire, battery lead wire, and
starter

lay coupler at the slarter relay.
• Remove the starter relay.
Apply
12
V to the terminals and check for continuity between the
positive and negative
terminals uSing the multi circuit tester. II
the starter relay clicks and continuity is found, the relay is ok.

five
seconds

since
the

coil

Measure the relay coil resist
