PRIMARY DRIVE GEAR
• In sta ll th e key CD and primary dr ive gear (g).
• Hold th e generator rotor using the 26 mm offset wrench, and
men llghlen me p ri mary drive gear nU llO me specified lo rqu e.
~ Primary drive gear nut : 110 N·m (11.0 kgf-m, 79.5 Ib-ft)
GEARSHIFT CAM DRIVEN GEAR
• T ig ht en t he gearshift cam driven gear bolt to thc specified
torq ue.
~ Gearshift cam driven gear bolt:
24 N·m (2 .4 kgf-m, 17.5 Ib-ft)

In sta ll each pawl lifter into the oearshift cam driven oear. The
large shoulder ® must face to the outside.
• Ap ply a small quantity of THREAD LOCK "1342" or THREAD
LOCK SUP ER "1322" to th e pawl lifter sc rews, and then t igh t en
th em securel y.
For USA
= 99000-32050: THREAD LOCK "1342"
For the other countries
= 99000-32110: THREAD LOCK SUPER "1322"
