• Remove the cylinder head bolts, and then remove the cylinder
head.
NOTE:
If the cylinder head does not come off easily, lightly tap it using a
plastic mallet.
• Remove the cylinder head gasket ill and dowel pins <2).
• Remove Ihe cam chain guide @.
• Remove the cylinder base nuts @, and then remove the cylin-
der.
NOTE:
If the cylinder does not come off easily, lightly tap it using a plas-
tic mallet.
• Remove the cylinder gasket @ and dow,,1 pins @.
• Place a clean rag over the cylinder base to prevent the piston
pin circlip from droppino into the crankcase.
• Remove the piston pin circlip.
• Draw out the piston pin and remove the piston.
