Reassemble Ihe transmission
in
the reverse order of disassem-
bly.
Pay
special attention
to
the following points:

Before installing the gears, apply engine oil
to
the inner surface
of
each gear
and
bushing.

circlip
has been removed
from

shaft

shaft

securely
fitted

reassembling the transmission, attention must be given
to

positions
of

of
the gears,
washers.
and
circlips.

When
inGtalling a
new
circlip,
pay
attention to
the
direction of
the circlip. Fit
it
to the side where the thrust
is
, as shown. The
rounded side should
be
against the gear surface.
