Condition Possible cause Correction / Reference Item
Both seat back and
cushion do not become
hot although seat heater
switch is LO / HI position
Wiring or grounding faulty Repair.
Circuit fuse blown Replace fuse and check for short circuit.
Seat heater switch faulty Check seat heater switch referring to “Seat
Heater Switch (Driver and Passenger Side)
Inspection”.
Seat heater circuit in seat back and/or
seat cushion faulty
Check heater front back and/or heater front
cushion referring to “Seat Heater Wire
Inspection”.
Only seat back does not
become hot although seat
heater switch is HI
position
Wiring faulty Repair.
Seat heater switch faulty Check seat heater switch referring to “Seat
Heater Switch (Driver and Passenger Side)
Inspection”.
Seat heater circuit in seat back and/or
seat cushion faulty
Check heater front back and/or heater front
cushion referring to “Seat Heater Wire
