Heater Unit Removal and Installation

Removal
1) Disconnect negative (–) cable at battery.
2) Drain engine coolant, and then disconnect heater
hoses (1) from heater unit.
3) Remove heater unit mounting nuts (2).
4) Remove instrument panel referring to “Instrument
Panel Removal and Installation in Section 9C”.
5) Remove blower unit (1) referring to Step 4) to 6) of
“Blower Unit Removal and Installation”.
6) Remove drain hose (2) from vehicle body.
7) Remove heater unit (3) from vehicle body.
Installation
Reverse removal procedure to install heater unit noting
the following instructions.
• When installing each part, be careful not to catch any
cable or wiring harness.
• Fill engine coolant to radiator.
