Install the handlebar assembly using the two clamps
and the four bolts.
A: Clamp
B: 8 × 35 mm flange bolt
C: Punch mark
D: Dot mark
Tighten the handlebar clamp bolts to the specified
torque.

THROTTLE
Align the dot mark on the handlebars with mating sur-
face of the throttle housing.
Tighten the throttle assembly with two bolts after the
assembly is positioned so that there is approximately
0.5–1.0 mm (0.02–0.04 in) clearance between the
inner position of grip and the end of the handlebars.

NOTE:
The punch mark on the clamps shows front
side.
Align the dot mark on the handlebars with the
mating surface of the front side of left clamp.
NOTE:
To install the handlebars correctly, first
tighten the bolt

A of the front side with speci-
fied torque and then tighten the bolt

B of the
rear side.
Make sure that the clamp has no clearance at
the front side as shown in the illustration.
The line drawings on page 43 and 44 show the
proper routing of the control cables, hose and
wirings.
Refer to them in addition to following the
instructions carefully.
Check to ensure that the throttle operates
freely and closes automatically.
