“C12” (P0335) CKP SENSOR CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION
INSPECTION
Step 1
1) Remove the left frame cover. ($VL800K1 7-2)
2) Remove the left frame lower cover
1 and tool box cover

3) Remove the tool box
3.
4) Check the CKP sensor coupler
4 for loose or poor contacts.
If OK, then measure the CKP sensor resistance.
DETECTED CONDITION POSSIBLE CAUSE
The signal does not reach ECM for 3 sec. or more,
after receiving the starter signal.
• Metal particles or foreign material being stuck on
the CKP sensor and rotor tip.
• CKP sensor circuit open or short.
• CKP sensor malfunction.
• ECM malfunction.
