Operator´s manual round bale wrapper 7640
7.5 After the first bale
After the first bale check the following and
readjust as required:
No. of layers, completion of wrapping and
overlap
Occurance of film damage
7.6 Driving technique
7.6.1 Tractor fitted
The capcity is utilized at the most when
some bales are ready for wrapping on the
field. Wrapping can be done whilst driving to
the next bale (Max 15 km/h). Attention: Be
aware of reduced clearance between draw-
bar and tractor wheel during sharp turns.
7.6.2 Behind a baler
Sharp turns should only be done to the left
hand side.
Keep the baler and wrapper in line when
transfering the bale.
Transfer of a bale downhill should be avoid-
ed because the bale can roll into the baler.
Drive a bit crosswards before bale transfer.
Due to gravity, the bale will roll sideways
when bale ejection is done in sidehills. This
can be compensated by placing the wrapper
a bit downwards.
7.7 Before you leave
the field
In order to prevent accidents ensure the
following before you enter the road:
Ensure that no bale is left on the roller
table
Ensure that loading arm is parked in
inner (closed) position
Remove all accumulated crop
Ensure that drawbar is correctly posi-
tioned.
Shut off the hydraulic system
Disconnect the control panel
Attention:
Observe local traffic regulations
Check lighting of the vehicle train
Never transport a bale on the wrapper
