9 Operation of model S
9.1 Structure
The system includes two main components:
 Drivermodule (black-box) fitted on the
wrapper.
 Control unit (joy-stick) mounted in the
tractor cab.
The system can be operated in manual or
semi autimatic mode.
9.2 Safety
The power supply will cut if the safety arm is
activated, meaning that the wrapper can not
be operate. The power supply must be re-
engaged when after the safety arm is neur-
tralized.
9.3 Operation
9.3.1 Joy-stick
The joystick has following functions:
Key FJ not activated Key FJ activated
Joystick forward Table forward Loading arm closing
Joystick backward Table backwards Loading arm open
Joystick right Filmcutter down Filmcutter up
Joystick left Satellitte slow Satellitte fast
9.3.2 Softkeys and display
Key FJ Select key for hydraulic functions
Key F1 Short push: Selcet manual or semi-automatic mode. The system must be in [Cyk].
Long push: Gives access to adjustment of parameters.
Key F2 Selection key for display
[ ] = Digit indicates how many times the sensor must be activated before the
automatic hold function is activated (automatic stop).
Cyk = Left digit indicates actual sensor activations.
Right digit indicates no. of programmed sensor passes.
One sensor pass is equal to one filmroll rotation. On wrappers with one pre-stretcher, the no.
of sensor passes is equal to the no. of satellite rotations.
On wrappers with two pre-stretchers, the no. of sensor passes are twice the no. of satellite
rotations. Two sensor passes for each satellite rotation.
F. = Stop position satellitte
Bal = Bale counter.
Bal+ = Bale counter total.
Key F3 Programming key. Can also be used to reset «actual sensor passes»
Key F4 Power supply on - off.
