7.9.9 Hydraulic oil tank
Checking hydraulic oil level
• Check the oil level using the oil dipstick (51/1);
top up hydraulic oil if required.
Changing the hydraulic oil
Danger of scalding when hot oil is
drained!
• Retract all hydraulic cylinders.
• Stop the engine.
• Unscrew the oil dipstick (51/1).
• Remove the drain plug (51/4) on the hydraulic
oil tank and drain oil into a clean receptacle.
Collect the waste oil, do not allow it
to seep into the ground.
Dispose of according to
regulations!
• Flush and clean the hydraulic tank as required
(to do so, completely remove the suction filter
51/2).
• Screw back on the drain plug carefully.
• Fill up with clean hydraulic oil using the
breather. To do so, remove the filter head
(51/3).
• Screw back on the breather head.
• Screw back in the oil dipstick.
