How to remove a stuck drive shaft from the drive coupling in my Taylor Ice Cream Maker?
    • M
      Marissa FloydSep 10, 2025
If the drive shaft is stuck in the drive coupling, it could be due to mix and lubricant accumulation; regularly brush clean the rear shell bearing area. Rounded corners on the drive shaft or coupling can also cause this, so replace worn components. Finally, a misaligned gear box can be the culprit; re-align it.

      russellbellSep 12, 2025
Scored freezing cylinder walls can be caused by a missing or worn front bearing; install or replace it. Broken beater pins (pump style freezers only) can also cause this, so replace the beater assembly, ensuring scraper blades are properly attached over the pins. A bent beater assembly should be replaced. Finally, a misaligned gear box can contribute; re-align it.
