Meat Quality Troubleshooting
The product served from the grills is the result of
cook times, temperatures, pressures and
operations. Use the following chart to troubleshoot
poor meat quality and to educate the operator.
PROBLEM PROBABLE CAUSE REMEDY
1. Under‐cooked. a. Freezer burn. a. Use fresh product.
b. Worn release material. b. Rotate the release material
daily and change the material
when worn.
c. Improper cook times. c. Set the time as instructed in
the Operator Manual.
d. Improper cook temperatures. d. Set the proper temperatures
and calibrate the grill.
2. Over-cooked. a. Incorrect cook times. a. Set the time as instructed in
the Operator Manual.
b. Improper meat removal. b. Remove meat as instructed in
the Operator Manual.
c. Improper cook temperatures. c. Set the proper temperatures
and calibrate the grill.
3. Improper sear. a. Worn release material. a. Rotate the release material
daily and change the material
when worn.
