Flame Fault (LED flashes 2 times)
If the gas solenoid fails to close completely and the
burner stays lit, the flame sense circuit will detect it
and energize the blower. The blower will remain on
until the gas valve closes and the flame sense is
lost.
Ignition Lockout (LED flashes 3 times)
This section will cover the Failure to Ignite,
Reignition and Lockout Reset.
This IDC has a single trial ignition. If the burner fails
to light or the flame sense is not detected during
ignition, the control will lockout. When the control
goes into this lockout the gas solenoid and blower
will be turned off.
Flame Failure Reignition
If the burner is lit and it goes out (Flame Sense is
lost) the control will try to reignite within 0.8
seconds. If the burner fails to ignite the IDC will go
into Ignition Lockout. If the burner does light during
the reignition sequence, the control will operate as
normal.
Lockout Reset
When the IDC goes into lockout it must be manually
reset. This is accomplished by removing the 24 Volt
input from 24VAC(R) for 5 seconds.
