Press [ ■ ] on DECK 1.
(DECK 1 will stop, and DECK 2 will record a 4-second silent
interval and then enter the recording standby mode.)
0 Operate DECK 1 to find the track you wish to record.
It is also possible to change the playback tape at this time.
For your reference:
TPS is useful for finding the beginning of the track.

To cut unwonted parts during recording B _
O [During recording]
Press [ II PAUSE] on DECK 2.
(DECK 2, which was recording, will enter the pause mode, and
DECK 1 will continue playback.)
0 [When DECK 1 reaches a part you wish to record]
Press [ II PAUSE] on DECK 2.
(DECK 2 will resume recording.)
For your reference:
• The recording level and the Dolby effect will be recorded as they
are on the tape being played back.
• The signal being recorded does not pass through the amplifier or
receiver, so it is possible to select another source to listen to while
the recording is being made.
