Recording
To make a silent interval
A silent interval of 4 seconds or more can be provided between
tracks. This function is useful for playing back on decks which can
skip to the beginning of tracks, and for cutting unwanted sound from
commercials.
To make a 4-second silent interval fH
Press [ O AUTO REC MUTE] momentarily while a
recording is being made.
A 4-second silent interval will be recorded, and the unit will automat¬
ically be set to the recording standby mode.
To make a silent interval of more than 4 seconds EE
Press and hold [ O AUTO REC MUTE] for the nec¬
essary number of seconds while a recording is
being made.
The unit will change to the recording stand-by mode when the but¬
ton is released.
To resume recording E3
Press either [ ◄ ] or [ ► ] , corresponding to the indicator which is lit.
To erase recorded sound EE
O Press [ 4 OPEN/CLOSE] on DECK 1 (or DECK 2) and
insert the recorded cassette tape.
0 Press [DOLBY NR] so that the Dolby NR indicators
(“B” and “C”) are off.
© Press [REVERSE MODE] to select the desired
reverse mode.
O Set [REC LEVEL] to “0”.
0 Press [0 REC].
0 Press [ ◄ ] or [ ► ] to begin erasing the tape.
