Equalizer
adjustment
The
equalizer
is
adjusted

that
the
output
level
is
same
at
400
Hz
and
at
3
kHz.

Selecting
the
Dolby
NR
type
The
Dolby
NR
effect
can
be
obtained
by
using
the
same
type
of
Dolby
NR
during
both
recording
and
playback.
Refer
to
the
following
table
when
selecting
the
type
(either
B
or
C).
Type
B
Use
this
type
when
the
deck
on
which
the
tape
will
be
played
back
is
equipped
with
only
type
B
Dolby
NR.
Type
C
Use
this
type
when
the
deck
on
which
the
tape
will
be
played
back
is
equipped
with
type
C
Dolby
NR.
(For
example,
when
this
unit
is
also
going
to
be
used
to
play
back
the
tape.)

the
recording
level
is
too
high,
there
will
be
distortion
in
the
recorded
sounds,
and
if
it
is
too
low,
the
hiss
noise
inherent
to
recording
tapes
will
become
noticeable.
In
order
to
make
high-quality
recordings,
use
[REC
LEVEL]
to
adjust
so
the
highest
values
of
the
input
level
indicated
by
the
level
meter
do
not
exceed
the
standard
recording
level
(the
number
indi¬
cated
in
parentheses
in
the
illustration)
for
the
type
of
tape
being
used.
