Scene Mode [@]
You can select the scene mode according to the shooting scene. There are 4 available
modes in Scene Mode:
[
J] Night Scene: This mode allows you to take photographs of people against a dusk or
night-time background.
[
h] Landscape: This mode allows you to take photographs of distant scenery or
landscapes.
[
H] Portrait: Select this mode to make people stand out with the background
out-of-focus.
[I] Sport: This mode allows you to shoot fast moving objects.
1. Rotate the mode dial to @ and turn your
camera on by pressing the S button.
2. Press the e button.
3. Use
x or y to select the desired scene mode.
4. Press the
e button to confirm the selection.
5. Compose your subject within the focus frame.
6. Press the shutter button to capture the image.
Shutter Speed Priority Mode [E]
If you set a fast shutter speed, you can capture images of moving subjects that look as
if they are still. If you set a slow shutter speed, you can capture images that give the
impression that the subject is in motion.
1. Rotate the mode dial to E and turn your
camera on by pressing the S button.
2. Press the e button.
3. Set the aperture value with x or y, and press
the e button.
4. Compose your subject within the focus frame.
5. Press the shutter button to capture the image.
