7.14. DISASSEMBLING THE BELT

Carry out the procedure described in paragraph
7.8. “Disassembling the frame guards”.
1. Back off the nut a with a 17-mm wrench.
2. Back off the dowel b with a 4-mm hex T
wrench.
3. Move the alternator toward the flywheel in
order to pull the BELT c out of the alternator
pulley.

4. Remove the BELT from flywheel d.
5. Pull the BELT out through the left pedal
lever group.
6. Remove the BELT.
To reassemble the BELT, carry out the above
steps in reverse order.
After completing the procedure, adjust
the alignment and tension of the belt as
described in paragraphs 8.1. and 8.2. .
