Supply.
Description
-
The
Adjustment Procedures
are
divided into
two
parts:
• This general information about adjusting
the
power supply.
• Written procedures
for
manually adjusting
the
power supply.
Purpose
—
This procedure
is
used
to
return
the
power supply
to
confor-
mance with
its
specifications
as
listed
in
Section 1, Specifications.
It
can also
be used
to
optimize the performance
of
the power supply.
Adjustment Interval
-
As a
general rule, these adjustments should
be
performed every 2000 hours
of
operation
or
once
a
year
if
used infrequently.

Personnel
This procedure
is
only
to be
performed
by
trained service technicians.
Warm-up Period
This power supply requires
a
20 minute warm-up time
in a
20°C
to
30°C
environment before performing this adjustment procedure. Adjustments
per-
formed before the operating temperature
has
stabilized may cause errors
in
adjustment.
Access
Removal
of
the cover
is
required
to
adjust this power supply. Refer
to the
Maintenance Section
for
instructions
on
how
to
remove the cover.
Test Equipment
The test equipment required
to
adjust the PS280
or
PS283 Laboratory
DC
Power Supply
is
listed in Table
4-1
on
page
4-2.
