Appendix A: TPS2000B Specifications
All specifications apply to the TPS2000B series o scilloscopes. TPP0101 and
TPP0201 probe specifications appear at the end of this chapter. To verify that the
oscilloscop
e meets specifications, the oscilloscope must firstmeetthefollowing
conditions:
The oscillo
scope must have been operating continuously for twenty minutes
within the specified operating temperature.
You mus t pe
rform the Do Self Cal operation, accessible through the Utility
menu, if the operating temperature changes by more than 5 °C (9 °F ).
The oscil
loscope must be within the factory calibration interval.
All specifications are guaranteed unless noted “typical.”

Derate at 20 dB/decade above 100 kHz to 13 V peak AC at 3 MHz and above. For non-sinusoidal
waveforms, peak value must be less than 450 V. Excursion above 300 V should be less than
100 ms duration. RMS signal level including any DC component removed through AC coupling
must be limited to 300 V. If these values are exceeded, damage to the instrument may result.
