Operating the Truck
3. Allow the engine to idle 3 - 5 minutes after a full load operation before
shutting it off. This allows the engine to cool gradually and uniformly.
4. Turn the steering wheel in both directions to dissipate the pressure in
the steering accumulator to prevent accidental steering during bleed
down.
5. Make sure the body control lever is in the 'FLOAT' position.
6. To stop the engine, turn the ignition key switch to position '1'.
7. Turn the ignition key switch to the 'OFF' position ('0').
