RAM Expan sion
Your computer is equipped with 4 MB of random access
memory (
RAM). You can increase memory by installing one
of the
RAM options:
❑ 4-MB RAM Expansion Board (TI Part No.
9793357-0001). This expands RAM from 4 MB to 8
MB.
❑ 16-MB
RAM Expansion Board (TI Part No.
9793358-0001). This expands RAM from 4 MB to 20
MB
Installing A RAM Expansion Board
To install the RAM Expansion Board, complete the following
steps.

Caution: Prevent component damage caused by electro-
static discharge (
ESD). Use a high-impedance, grounded-
conductive floor mat or wrist strap to prevent
ESD.
Before touching the integrated circuit devices, dis-
charge static electricity from your hands, tools, and
containers by touching them to a grounded surface.
1. Turn the notebook upside down on a padded surface.
2. Remove the screw from the RAM expansion
compartment.
