Solution:OntheStartupmenuofThinkPadSetup,makesurethattheharddiskdriveorhybriddriveis
ontheBootpriorityorderlist.IfitisontheExcludedfrombootorderlist,itisdisabled.Selecttheentry
foritonthelistandpresstheShift+1key.ThismovestheentrytotheBootpriorityorderlist.
•Problem:Aftersettingaharddiskpasswordontheharddiskdriveorhybriddriveofthecomputer,you
movedthedrivetoanothercomputer.Nowyoucannotunlocktheharddiskpassword.
Solution:Yourcomputersupportsanenhancedpasswordalgorithm.Computersolderthanyoursmight
notsupportsuchasecurityfunction.

Problem:WhenyoucompressfilesorfoldersbyuseofthedatacompressionfunctioninWindows,and

Solution:ApplythediskdefragmentationtoolinWindowsforfasteraccesstothedata.
