module,ensureyoufollowthenoticesandinstructionsinthistopic.
Note:Theoperatingspeedofamemorymodulehasdependencyonthesystemconfiguration.Insome
conditions,thememorymoduleinyourcomputermightnotbeabletooperateatthemaximumspeed.
Attention:Beforeyoustartinstallingamemorymodule,touchametaltableoragroundedmetalobject.This
actionreducesanystaticelectricityfromyourbody.Staticelectricitycoulddamagethememorymodule.
Toreplaceamemorymodule,dothefollowing:
1.Turnoffthecomputer;thendisconnecttheacpoweradapterandallcablesfromthecomputer.Wait
severalminutestoletthecomputercool.
2.Closethecomputerdisplayandturnitover.
3.Removethebattery.See“Replacingthebattery”onpage113.
4.Loosenthescrews1andthenremovethecover2.
