Therateatwhichyouusebatterypowerwilldeterminehowlongyoucanusethebatteryofyourcomputer
betweencharges.Becauseeachcomputeruserhasdifferenthabitsandneeds,itisdifficulttopredicthow
longabatterychargewilllast.Therearetwomainfactors:
•Howmuchenergyisstoredinthebatterywhenyoubegintowork.
•Thewayyouuseyourcomputer:
–Howoftenyouaccessthestoragedrive.

Ifanacoutletisconvenient,plugtheacpoweradapterintoit,andtheninserttheconnectorintothe
computer.Thebatterywillbefullychargedinaboutthreetosixhours.Thechargingtimeisaffectedbythe
batterysizeandthephysicalenvironment.Youcancheckthebatterychargingstatusatanytimethroughthe
battery-statusiconintheWindowsnotificationarea.
