Toawakenthecomputerfromsleepmode,presstheFnkeyonyourkeyboard.Formoreinformationabout
thesesettings,seetheWindowsHelpandSupportinformationonthecomputer.
TheWakeOnLANfunctionisenabledwhenyourLenovocomputerisshippedfromthefactory,andthe
settingremainsvalidevenwhenthecomputerisinsleepmode.IfyoudonotneedtohaveWakeonLAN
enabledwhilethecomputerisinsleepmode,youcanreducethepowerconsumptionandprolongthetime
insleepmode,bydisablingthesettingofWakeonLANforsleepmode.
TodisablethesettingofWakeonLANforsleepmode,dothefollowing:
1.GotoControlpanelandclickHardwareandSound➙DeviceManager.
2.IntheDeviceManagerwindow,expandNetworkadapters.
3.Right-clickyournetworkadapterdevice,andclickProperties.
4.ClickthePowerManagementtab.
5.CleartheAllowthisdevicetowakethecomputercheckbox.
6.ClickOK.
