diagnosticcomponentthatdeterminesifthebatterypackisdefective.AbatterypackFRUshouldnotbe
replacedunlessthisdiagnostictestshowsthatthebatteryisdefective.
Theonlyexceptiontothisisifthebatterypackisphysicallydamagedoracustomerisreportingapossible
safetyissue.
IfLenovoThinkVantageToolboxisnotinstalledinthecomputer,thecustomershoulddownloadthisprogram
beforeanon-physicallydamagedbatterypackisreplaced.Notethatthereplacementofaphysically
damagedbatterypackisnotcoveredbythewarranty.
