9.2.1. Types of General-Purpose Broadcasts
General-purpose broadcasts can be classified as follows, depending on the type of equipment, broadcast
priority, etc.

[Microphone announcements from the FV-200EV-AS]
Microphone announcements can be made to all areas using the FV-200EV-AS fireman's microphone only
press the talk key.
[FV-200EV-AS Emergency message]
When the EV Input on the rear of the FV-200PP-AS receives an audio signal and a control signal from the
FV-200EV-AS, the broadcast is made to all zones during EV Output terminal is active.
[Timer-activated automatic broadcasts]
When the Timer Input on the rear of the FV-200PP-AS receives an audio signal and a control signal from a
music play component, the broadcast is made to all zones during operation of the music play component.
[Paging]
When the Paging Input on the rear of the FV-200PP-AS receives an audio signal and a control signal from a
telephone exchange, a paging call from a telephone set is made to all zones.
[Announcements from the RM-200M (with the FV-200RF-AS and RM-200M installed)]
Microphone announcements can be made to specific areas selected using the Zone Selector Keys on the
RM-200M or RM-210.
[BGM Broadcast]
For systems equipped with a 2-channel power amplifier and capable of 2-channel broadcasting, the BGM
Zone Selector Keys on the SS-2010 may be used to select broadcast areas, allowing broadcasts from the
music play component connected to the FV-200PP-AS's BGM input. For systems equipped with a 1-channel
power amplifier and capable of 1-channel broadcasting, the BGM broadcast areas can be selected at
the SS-1010 or SS-1010R.
