Front Air Filter
AlwayscheckandchangetheairlterattheintervalsoutlinedinthePeriodicMaintenanceChart.
Cleaningthefrontairlter(Sponge):
1. Liftthefronthoodtoaccesstheairlter.
2. Remove the sponge (1) and check its condition.
3. Wash with warm water and drain.
4. Addaboutvetablespoonsofoilandspreadevenlyoverthesponge.
Applyingtoomuchoilcanpreventairfromgoingthroughthelter.
5. Reinstallairltersponge.
NOTE:
Servicetheairlterfrequentlyifthevehicleisoperatedinwetanddustyconditionsorathighthrottleopeningsforextendedperiods
Service to the engine should only be performed once the engine cools to your surrounding temperature.
