and Figure 86 ). R emo v e the bearing from the
opposite side of the wheel hub .
3. Chec k the bearings , spacer , and inside of the
wheel hub for w ear . R e place any damag ed
par ts .
4. T o assemble the castor wheel, push the bearing
into the wheel hub . W hen installing the
bearings , press on the outer race of the bearing .
5. Slide the bearing spacer into the wheel hub .
Push the other bearing into the open end of
the wheel hub to capti v ate the bearing spacer
inside the wheel hub .
6. Install the castor wheel assembly betw een the
castor fork and secure it in place with the bolt
and loc kn ut.

Tightening the Locknuts
After the first 50 hours , the loc k n uts on the lo w er
pi v ot links ( Figure 88 ), the lift ar m pins ( Figure 89 )
and the wing dec k cylinder mounts ( Figure 90 )
m ust be tor qued to 160 to 180 ft-lb (216 to 244
N ⋅ m).
