(1/4to1/2inch)belowthebottomoftheller
neck.Thisemptyspaceinthetankallowsthe
fueltoexpand.
•Neversmokewhenhandlingfuel,andstayaway
fromanopenameorwherefuelfumesmaybe
ignitedbyaspark.
•Storefuelinaclean,safety-approvedcontainer
andkeepthecapinplace.

Every800hours—Drainandcleanthefueltank.
Beforestorage—Drainandcleanthefueltank.
Drainandcleanthefueltankevery800hours.Also,drainand
cleanthetankiffuelsystembecomescontaminatedorifthe
machinewillbestoredforanextendedperiodoftime.Use
cleanfueltoushoutthetank.

1.Placeacleancontainerunderthefuellter(Figure34).
2.Loosenthedrainplugonthebottomofthelter
canister.

7.Tightenthedrainplugonthebottomofthelter
canister.

Screen
Thefuelpickuptube,locatedinsidethefueltank,isequipped
withascreentohelppreventdebrisfromenteringthefuel
system.Removethefuelpickuptubeandcleanscreenas
required.
