(Figure27)requiresit.Changingtheairlterbeforeitis
necessaryonlyincreasesthechanceofdirtenteringtheengine
whenthelterisremoved.

counterclockwise(Figure28).

Note:Beforeremovingthelter,uselow-pressure
air(276kPa[40psi],cleananddry)tohelpremove
largeaccumulationsofdebrispackedbetweenoutside
ofprimarylterandthecanister.Avoidusing
high-pressureairwhichcouldforcedirtthrough
thelterintotheintaketract.
Thiscleaningprocesspreventsdebrisfrommigrating
intotheintakewhentheprimarylterisremoved.
3.Removeandreplacetheprimarylter(Figure29).
