Levers
WhenyousqueezetheOPCleversagainstthehandles,
theOPCsystemsensesthattheoperatorisinthenormal
operatingposition.WhenyoureleasetheOPClevers,the
OPCsystemsensesthattheoperatorhasleftthenormal
operatingposition,andthesystemwillstoptheengineif
eitherthespeed-controlleverisnotintheneutralpositionor
theblade-control(PTO)knobisengaged.
Blade-controlKnob(PTO)
Theblade-controlknob(PTO)isusedtoengageand
disengagethedrivebelttodrivethemowerbladeswiththe
OPCleverspressedagainstthehandles.Pulltheknobupto
engagethebladesanddowntodisengagetheblades.

reverse.Squeezetheright-sidedrivelevertoturnrightand
theleft-sidedrivelevertoturnleft.
NeutralLock
Squeezethedriveleversbackuntilanincreaseinforceisfelt,
andmovethelockstotherearforneutrallock.
RecoilStarter
Pulltherecoil-starthandletostarttheengine(notshown
inFigure4).
