needsmaintenance.PerformthestepsAdjusttheSpeed
ControlLinkagethroughAdjustingtheTracking.Ifany
adjustmentsareneeded,dothemintheorderthattheyare
listed.
AdjustingtheSpeedControl
Linkage
1.DisengagethePTOandsettheparkingbrake.
2.Stoptheengineandwaitforallmovingpartstostop
beforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
3.Movethespeed-controllever(locatedontheconsole)
tothefullforwardposition.
4.Checktheorientationofthetabsontheendsofthe
speed-controlcrank.Thesetabsshouldbepointing
straightdownatthe6o'clockpositionapproximately

5.Adjustthethreadedyokeatthebottomofthespeed
controllinkageuntilthetabsareatthe6o'clock
position(Figure35).
